Reductor de velocidad FLK Drive: cómo evitar que el reductor se queme
The gearmotor is burnout due to improper operation when using the reducer. Now we will introduce some solutions on how to avoid the reducer from burning out.
-
The cleanliness of the reducer is very important.
When the motor is running, a short-circuit medium will be formed if dust, water stains and other debris enter the interior, which will damage the insulation layer of the wire and cause a short circuit with interturn, increase the current, increase the temperature and burn the motor. Therefore, dust, water stains and other debris should be prevented from entering the inside of the motor. At the same time, the outside of the motor should be cleaned frequently to avoid dust and other debris in the motor’s cooling ribs to ensure that the motor’s heat dissipation is in good condition.
-
Observe frequently and stop the machine decisively for inspection if any abnormalities are found.
Observe the motor for vibration, noise and abnormal smell. When the motor is running, especially high-power motors, it is necessary to frequently check whether the anchor bolts, motor end covers, bearing glands, etc. are loose, and whether the grounding device is reliable. If you find that the vibration of the motor has intensified, the noise has increased, and there is an odor, you must stop it as soon as possible to find out the cause and eliminate the fault.
-
The working current of the reducer must be stable and must not be too large.
The motor may be overloaded due to excessive load, low voltage or mechanical jamming. Therefore, when the motor is running, attention should be paid to frequently checking whether the transmission device operates flexibly and reliably; whether the concentricity of the coupling is standard; the flexibility of the gear transmission, etc. If any jamming is found, the machine should be stopped immediately to eliminate the fault before running again .

The control equipment of this machine needs to be inspected and maintained regularly to keep it normal.
The technical condition of the motor control equipment plays a decisive role in the normal starting of the motor. Therefore, the motor control equipment should be located in a dry, ventilated and easy-to-operate location, and dust should be removed regularly. Frequently check whether the contactor contacts, coil core, each wiring screw, etc. are reliable, and whether the mechanical parts move flexibly to maintain good technical condition, thereby ensuring that the motor works smoothly without being burned.
